Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has never been afraid of a fight, and this year's presidential election is no exception. Slacker Uprising, a new movie about his swing state tour in the 2004 election maximizes the reach of his message and as a thank you gift to his fans. Moore is adopting a novel approach to distribution appropriate to politics in the age of the internet: he's teaming up with Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films to distribute the movie online, free of charge.
